About Frisson Reynald | Dark Cinematic & Emotional Piano Instrumental Composer

Transforming Emotion into Cinematic Sound

I am a French composer creating dark cinematic instrumental music shaped by emotional piano, immersive atmospheres, and powerful modern sound design.

My music was born from a lifelong need to express what words could never fully convey. Since childhood, the piano has been my natural language, a way to transform vulnerability, intensity, and life's inner storms into sound.

Today, that emotional truth lies at the heart of everything I compose. From fragile, melancholic piano themes to vast cinematic soundscapes, every piece is crafted to resonate deeply, awaken emotion, and remain with the listener long after the final note has faded.

Portrait of Frisson Reynald, dark cinematic instrumental composer

I blend emotional piano, dramatic orchestration, and modern hybrid elements to create soundscapes that feel both intimate and monumental. I do not follow trends. I follow emotion. My goal is not simply to move the listener, but to create a space for reflection, personal growth, and emotional clarity.

I compose to transform lived experience into understanding, and to help others recognize emotions they are still learning to express. Through music, I seek elevation not as an escape, but as a path toward emotional maturity.

Step into my world, where emotion becomes sound and sound becomes memory.

Artistic Journey

Drawn to music from the age of five, Frisson Reynald discovered the piano as a natural language. At the age of ten, he began studying electronic organ and keyboard under Renaud Laurent, building the technical and artistic foundations that would shape his musical identity.

Over the years, he performed with bands spanning a wide range of musical styles, an experience that continues to influence the depth and versatility of his compositions today.

After nearly a decade performing in a blues band, film music became an undeniable calling. In 2003, he began composing for picture, first by creating film rescores and later by writing original scores for short films.

In 2008, he started working on his first professional productions, and in 2010 founded Twin Scoring Studio, a company specializing in cinematic trailer music.

Since 2019, Frisson Reynald has devoted himself exclusively to professional composition. Alongside collaborations with artists such as opera singer Tatiana Grimald, he continues to release a growing catalog of personal albums and singles.

Today, Frisson Reynald creates music where emotional piano, cinematic orchestration, and modern hybrid sound design come together to tell stories without words. Every composition is crafted to forge a deep emotional connection, awakening images, emotions, and memories that continue to resonate long after the final note has faded.

His mission has never changed: to transform emotion into music, and music into memory.
